Since Dr. Y. Picthall has arrived at the Pike Practise my visits to see her have been the best in years. I have a complex medical situation and Dr. Picthall does her very best to ensure that she understands, gives me my choices, and if she says she is going to make appointments for me to see someone at a hospital, go for an ultrasound, X Ray, Blood Tests etc. etc. she actions everything immediately. Her prompt action resulted in me having 2 operations this year, and both were very successful. Therefore, I am very impressed with Dr. Picthall as my GP, and I trust her - As a patient this is something that I have not had in a very long time. In conclusion.....my GP Dr. Y. Picthall is amazing !!

Dr Picthall is one of the best doctors I have ever had, she is lovely and listens to everything you have to say. She has helped me so much and pointed me in the right direction to get the help I needed. Every time I see her she is smiling and very pleasant, even on a Sunday morning ! I can't thank her enough for her help.

I first saw Dr Picthall when I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. I had heard that she was very abrupt so was dreading seeing her. I found her to be very caring and she listened to me. I hate going to the docs. but she soon put me at ease. My blood pressure was sky high and she has worked through different tablets until she has found the right dosage for me. For the first time in years my blood pressure is now settled and I am very, very grateful. She has never made me feel stupid and has always been very pleasant.
